How to
Treat your Scorpio |
 |

Your
Scorpio embodies the characteristics of the Ruler of the
Underworld... Hades, Pluto - any name you call him by, he's one you
don't want to mess with! This is one small, passionate arachnid who
packs a whallop.
Now,
I know Scorpio gets a bad rap. That's because people need to look
beyond the stinger and get to the meat. And the meat is tasty. First
of all, without resorting to actually devouring your Scorpio
(although she'd love it), take into consideration these enticing
Scorpionic traits: Your Scorpio is deeply intuitive, sensual,
mysterious, sexy, prosperity conscious, able to make dramatic life
changes, a powerful ally, and - yes - deeply spiritual. The key word
here is deep....deep as the ocean herself.
So
why wouldn't you want to mess with someone who sounds so alluring?
Why should you think twice about badmouthing or - dare I say -
leaving such a one? Because everything runs deep with Scorpio. All
the good, and all the bad. Feelings are strong, and last forever!
When you are aligned with his wishes, you are his champion, his
partner, his war-buddy. When you cross the line, you might as well
hide out for a year until her venom wears off. Just think of your
Scorpio as the Godfather (as in the movie.) You get the picture....
you know what happens to traitors... Don't go there!
So,
now that you know that you must be nice, what is it that your
Scorpio needs from you? First of all, let her know she is sexy,
desirable, alluring and powerful. Tell him that the world is putty in
his hands and that he is the ultimate sex-god. Venture into the
unknown with your Scorpio. Discover dark hidden realms and uncover
secrets.... be a spy with her. Or better yet, hide out so he can have
the pleasure of finding you. Be available to satisfy your Scorpio's
sudden urges, and believe in her neverending quest for self-discovery
and the ultimate in spiritual fulfillment. Easy enough?
Don't
forget to dance and have fun with your Scorpio... they do know how
to have a good time... But always, always approach with caution. You
will be rewarded with plenty of powerful and moving experiences,
devotion, true friendship and a loyal friend - for life.

How to
Treat your Sagittarius |
 |

Your
happy Sag is a straight shooter, a wise one, a seer who is always
ready and able to offer up plans and ideas. She knows how to find the
answers, and doesn't hesitate to do so. A natural fortune-teller, she
has an innate sense of the future. You can tap into her foreshadowing
ability and get helpful hints about how to proceed in life. And she
is always honest - even if it is overstated a bit!
Your
jovial Sagi is almost always a happy camper. He sees the world
through lovely rose colored glasses. He barely recognizes
unhappiness. Your Sagi is a wonderful companion because his joy for
life is so lofty and grand that it is truly contagious.
While
all this is a tremendous advantage, you may come to find that
sometimes your Sagi is a lonely, sad clown. The problem is - he may
have difficulty knowing whether or not he is truly happy inside! The
jollity of your Sagi is usually completely genuine, but he may
sometimes feel embarrassed to say if he is actually depressed.
It's
not that your Sagi is hiding her feelings, it's just that she is
always looking forward to something better. Her glowing vision for
the future overshadows the present - no matter how gloomy. If you
want to make Sagi truly happy, you must be able to see through the
glowing exterior into the real, sensitive person inside. Try to see
any unhappiness, and help your Sagi recognize and do something about it!
So,
assuming your Sagi is not a sad, lonely clown, how do you make him
happy when he already appears to be just fine and dandy? How can you
create an impact in such a person's life? How can make your Sagi -
who always has something to look forward to - look forward to being
with YOU? Well, the answer is very simple. All he needs is
appreciation, gratitude and a healthy dose of freedom. Listen to him
spout philosophy. Praise him for his insights into the future. Allow
her to travel endlessly, read, absorb knowledge and make more of her
mind. Ignore the tripping over words and objects! Really - she is
merely blinded by her mental far-sightedness!! Laugh with sincerity -
never with derision. Have fun with her. Make him the object of your admiration.
Think
of your Sagi as a good luck charm, a shaman, a seer and a jester.
Keep her wisdom in your pocket like a talisman, and wear his heart on
your sleeve - but never restrict your Sagi's freedom. Take all of the
above into serious consideration (don't laugh!), and you will be
rewarded with a very wise and fortunate companion in the grand
adventure of life, an energetic, enthusiastic lover and a fun-loving,
true-hearted friend.

Death in
the Tarot |
 |

~
Changes ~
The
King is dead - Long Live the King!!
This
is probably the most feared and misunderstood card in the Tarot,
especially on first sight, yet for me - Death is one of the most
refreshing of all the trumps. It must be remembered that when this
card appears, it should not be taken as an indication that someone is
going to physically die.
Of
course they will - someday...
Death
will surely come. We feel its icy hand in the cold, frosty winter
that kills the dead-wood once and for all so that new seedlings can
flourish. We witness the reaper's wrath in the raging fire that
purifies the forest. His shadow lingers in the slow decay of a sad,
loveless marriage, as he eventually clears the way for new, vibrant love.
Life-renewing,
Death can bring an end to a boring job in favor of something more
challenging and meaningful, or the abandonment of some useless,
time-consuming habit. The promise of something new is what makes
Death so fascinating. Even in actual physical demise, we proceed to a
place that is mysteriously new, and undoubtedly infinitely more
beautiful and peaceful.
I
believe that the quantity of energy in the universe, in our spirits
and in our lives, is somewhat finite. While it's true that we can
expand our capacity for knowledge, experiences and relationships - we
inevitably reach a point of saturation, in which something has to go
in order to allow space for something new to enter the scene. This is
where Death comes in - to clear the air, till the field and bury the
dead. I sometimes wonder if people who are over-filled somehow, and
refuse or are unable to chop out the dead-wood, are actually forced
to leave us in death.
This
card reminds us that change is necessary, and inevitable. After we
grieve the loss of something or someone, we can embrace the rays of
hope and life that are nourished by the legacy that is left behind.
And we must grieve. Without going through a time of processing -
emotionally, physically, spiritually and mentally - the personal
meaning of that which has passed on - we may not be able to properly
nurture, or even realize the new life that is given in its wake.
Death is necessary to life. His arrival is painful, but he promises
so much! May you embrace the changes that await you without fear -
mourn what is over and done with, buried and gone... and witness with
wonder and grace how the pure richness of its passing nourishes the
blossoming flowers...

Planets - Chiron, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto and the Lunar Nodes ~^. .^~ |

Uranus
in Pisces! ...
Uranus
will stay in the Sign of the Fish 'til 2011! Spiritual Revolution
you say?? Yes, that would describe it well. What can we expect with
Uranus in Pisces? Perhaps our ideas about death, sacrifice, the
fantastic and impossible, transcendence and service to humanity will
take some dramatic and innovative turns. We can hope that
humanitarianism will take on new meaning and purpose, and that
service to others may become a more integral part of our social
order. With this placement, Uranus can become quite reclusive or
fanatical. Scientists who may have been hiding out for years in
research can bring new and surprising inventions and discoveries into
our midst, and Political Messiahs may come out of the woodwork. With
Uranus and Neptune in mutual reception - they will rely upon each
other more than usual, and herald perhaps a renewed and revolutionary
(Uranus) vision for humanity (Neptune) The cost may be a certain
amount of turmoil and confusion regarding just where we are going for
humanity, and will probably not be without conflict.
Neptune
in Aquarius (til 2012) is helping to set our expressions of love
and creativity into positive, innovative motion. A change in the
prevailing style in movies, fashion and art will be seen in the
months and years to come - probably bringing much more in the realm
of the unusual, shocking, rebellious, and inter-cultural.
Pluto
is in Capricorn now until 2024. The very fabric of society may
begin to be re-woven - but not before old structures are dismantled.
Capricorn is about authority, success, achievement and social order.
Pluto is about death and regeneration. Pluto asks us to dig deep and
USE what is best in our world to create something much better. We
need to avail ourselves of and share our brightest and most
humanistic minds (Uranus in Pisces, Neptune in Aquarius!!), and not
descend into blind destructiveness, greed or desperation.
The
powerful Neptune/Pluto septile, exact on Dec 1, 2006 and Feb.
21, 2007 will last (going in and out of close orb) into 2011! For
those of us who are very creative, tremendous inspiration can bring
influential, explosive, mind-blowing creations. In love - the
potential for making inspired changes is heightened - yet there also
exists the possibility of getting lost in confusion. Avoid falling
into a pit of despair, or indulging in self-destructive activities.
Getting nowhere fast? Look for Creative and Healthy, Inspired, Loving
outlets to save your skin! Get involved in helping others.... this is
especially important now!
Neptune/Pluto
can bring the sort of fanaticism that has not been seen since the
last such aspect at the beginning of WWII. Yet - this aspect also has
the potential to inspire lasting, humanitarian changes throughout the world.
From
8/22 to 3/4/2011, the North & South Nodes are on the
Capricorn/Cancer axis, bringing a focus on relationships that can
help us to achieve our goals, do our very best, and encourage us to
honor our teachers, supporters and mentors. As we enter this phase,
take time to remember ancestors and to acknowledge valued family
members, yet to let go of those memories and belongings that no
longer serve us. Reach out with enthusiasm for new opportunities that
may present themselves!
Chiron
in Aquarius...
This
archetype of human compassion will be passing nonstop through
Aquarius from January 06 til Feb. 2011, bringing a period of higher
inspiration in the realm of healing. We may look forward to greater
cooperation worldwide in the healing sciences, and perhaps going back
to tradition - those time honored ways that our ancestors enjoyed and
practiced in harmony with nature. Perhaps we may find more and more
"health" foods (ie unaltered and unprocessed) on our
grocery shelves, greater acceptance of mind-body healing approaches,
and some brave new ideas to surface, too.

Mewsings from
Venus &
Mars
~ Future
Forecast ~ for Love |
 |
Venus
in Libra from 10/15 to 11/8 is loving love - glowing with charm
and grace - seemingly irresistible, and doing whatever it takes to
look good and keep everyone else happy - and this may be just alright
for Mars in Leo from 10/17/09 to 6/17/2010 (!!!) - LONG
retrograde from 12/20/09 to 3/10/2010! Males will want to really
shine, and egos may seem especially large - but certainly family
matters will take on increased importance for men, as well as the
desire to maintain a spotless reputation... Look good, be good, do good!
Venus
in Scorpio from 11/9 to 12/1 is intense, sensitive, stubborn,
jealous, and likely to clash with Mars in Leo. If your beginning to
feel tension in close relationships, this may be why. Compromise
between these two fixed signs is rare, Men may seem a bit more
domineering (although also playful and caring), and women may seem a
bit more suspicious and, perhaps, even vengeful (yet also passionate
and deeply invested). The trick, as with most things in life, may be
to keep laughing, and loving yourself and others... Avoid drama, and
sit back and watch the show!
Future
Forecast for Love
During
the first week in November, Neptune/Jupiter/Chiron are still
conjunct in Aquarius, Venus trines Neptune, and Saturn begins a long
square to Pluto (exact 11/15), influencing us to strive to bring
about lasting changes for the sake of harmony, healing and the ideal
life. Clashes between traditional and revolutionary ideas are likely
- those who strive for radical change, or the elimination of outmoded
ways may feel frustrated, yet so often, new information is brought to
light through confrontation. Sincere communication is crucial!
The
second week, Venus in Scorpio sextiles and octiles Uranus.
bringing an itching need for meaningful change in love, in art, and
in all things that bind us socially. Women may feel more powerful and
alluring this week. Give her some space and respect, and all will be
well (maybe better than well!)
During
the third week, Venus is square Mars, quintile the N.Node,
and septile Pluto,, bringing tension between couples that may
only be remedied by absolute sincerity. Hiding one's true feelings,
even if hurtful, can be disastrous in the long run.
During
the 4th week, Venus is between the Saturn/Pluto square,
squares Jupiter/Neptune/Chiron, and trines Uranus while Mars makes
irritating aspects to Pluto Uranus and Saturn. There's plenty
going on here to indicate that the socially aware and sensitive among
us may be called upon to mediate and find brilliant solutions to
problems brought on by stubbornness, selfishness and lack of vision.
Treat conflicts as opportunities, and if someone sets you straight,
do your best to listen with a respectful, humble ear!
~
The Big Guys ~
Jupiter
is in Aquarius til 1/18/2010. Lucky, expansive Jupiter will be
crossing and re- crossing Chiron and Neptune during 2009, helping to
bring us new ideas in spirituality, religious openness, tolerance and
healing forms of justice.
Saturn
in Virgo 'til July 21, 2010 brings our focus to the things of
the earth.. the cleanliness and purity of our physical environment.
These coming years can bring a stronger sense of purpose and
responsibility within our social institutions, government and from
authority figures regarding the sanctity and protection of our mother
earth. A wonderful time this can be!! Let's make conscious
guardianship of our world the central focus for all we do!
