How
to Treat your Leo |
 |
Your
Leo is independent - yet family oriented; highly organized and
efficient - yet demanding of others. Leo is King or Queen of the
castle, and wants everyone to know it! Shining brightly through that
magnificent mane is a great joy for living... a completely self-contained
world of fun and creativity. Leo wants the outer world to be just as
shiny as she strives to be, and will go to any lengths to achieve it.
Your
Leo needs to be happy with how the world perceives him. If enough
praise is not forthcoming, you will have a sulky, growly lion! Make
sure you take time to compliment, heavily. And please don't criticize
overtly - make sly little helpful suggestions instead. Leo is very
sensitive, but bounces back easily because he can't stand
unhappiness. Life is too fun, and creative opportunities too tempting
for Leo to be out of the action for long.
Remember
that you are part of your Sun-God or Goddess' world. Your reputation
is just as important to your Leo as her own. Do your best to look
good, sound dignified and make your space organized and attractive.
Sweep the dirt out of public view, and don't forget to comb your hair!
Feed
your Leo with joyful, sunny surroundings, the laughter of children,
organized spaces and free-time to roam. Keep competition far away
from your very territorial animal. Shower her with cuddly affection,
your undying love and devotion, and most of all PRAISE. You will be
rewarded with a glowing soul whose heart radiates with blissful
devotion to your needs. Your Leo is sure to passionately love, defend
and protect you. It's his job!

How
to Treat your Virgo |
 |
Your
Virgo is an Earth Angel, a swift, intelligent Mercury without wings,
a dynamically aware work-force. She notices everything. He is hyper-awake.
Virgo,
though unassuming, kind and shy, is one of the strongest signs in
the Zodiac. This is intelligent earthiness - discerning practicality
- a strong yet gentle kindness and nurturing born of sheer common
sense. Your Virgo strives to be a model of perfection. She loves to
please you! He is driven to impress you with his talent for making
the most out of the best! Mercury's other child, Gemini, is a much
more lighthearted, air-born spirit. While Gemini is busy gathering so
much knowledge, Virgo insists on action and wants to know what will
be done with the information at hand. The question is always -
"of what practical use is this?" A master at taking things
apart and analyzing them - Virgo always finds room for improvement.
So
how can you possibly impress one who sees and knows so much? How can
you hide your imperfections? What will you do when YOU are the object
of her keen observation? You must be a strong spirit to be with Virgo
- both hard working and emotionally tough. You will be happiest with
your Virgo if you are one who appreciates purity, discernment and a
logical mind; and spurns the superfluous.
Feed
your Virgo with uncluttered surroundings, a practical, frugal budget
and pure, beautiful speech. Make healthful foods a priority. Take the
trash out often. Iron your clothes. Ask your Virgo for help - Virgo
lives to serve! Remind your Virgo how much you appreciate his careful
choices. Tell her how impressed you are with her impeccable taste and
well thought out advice. Make her a part of your life-improvement
team! You will be rewarded with an eternal help-mate, and a devoted, down-to-earth,
sensual, soft-hearted, compassionate lover.

Strength
in the Tarot |
 |
Leo
is associated with Strength in Tarot.
~
Passion ~
Intense
feelings burn inside you, and you are ready to explode! Your passion
is hot... it begs for an outlet. You feel you could conquer any
obstacle, take whatever you want or need and hold it to you forever,
force the changes you desire to come to fruition. You feel like a god
or goddess with infinite power!
There
is one deck that portrays Strength as a weight- lifter holding up an
incredibly huge barbell. The woman above is holding open the jaws of
a lion! Imagine the courage, the force of will and the sheer inner
strength one would need to accomplish these feats. Passion is what is
required - a desire so strong that it cannot be denied, and all fear
of failure disappears.
Strength
sometimes shows up when feelings are bottled up. There's something
within the querent that demands expression - or at least recognition.
Fear is not what holds you back - but rather opportunity. You have
the presence of mind to know what circumstances will support your
efforts, and what circumstances will not. Sometimes, it's just a
waiting game. Other times - an impossibility, yet the feelings
remain! Strength therefore, can also be Frustration.
What
do you desire? What are you passionate about? Are you expressing
that passion? Do you have obstacles that force you to keep that
feeling inside of you? How do you find release? Once you've got what
you want - do you regain that feeling of super-ability and go back
for more - or do you find another passion? Ultimately - Strength and
Passion are qualities we all possess, but may not always recognize,
or use...

Jupiter,
sunspots, volcanic activity & Mayan 2012 end times prophecy - a
fascinating article by Gray Stevens |
 |

"...So
what then is happening between the Sun and Jupiter to create the
sunspots; a combined tidal effect, a focussing of magnetic fields on
the Sun with the inner planet acting as a lens at the time of each
synchronised pass of Jupiter and Earth, a shadow effect allowing the
Sun's energies to rise to the surface. Let's look at the sky of
December 21st 2012, mmmm. Jupiter, Earth, Sun in a line, Saturn,
Venus, Sun in a line and Neptune, Mars, Sun in a line, auspicious
wouldn't you say. It couldn't be they're all beaming their energy at
our Sun simultaneously as a prelude to a mega rash of sunspots which
in turn lead to...uulp!"
One
interesting and helpful conclusion to this study - do we now have a
way to predict volcanic/earthquake activity early enough to avert
human disaster? This will certainly be interesting to watch. There is
much more to this article, including other planetary influences and
the complex orbital patterns that affect our world.
Thank
you Gray ~ quite an eye-opener ~
Warmest
Blessings and Light to all,

Mewsings
from Venus & Mars... August 2006 |
 |
With
Venus in Cancer... July 19 to August 13, she has family and loved
ones on her mind, and just might dredge up the old pictures, or
perhaps old memories if there are unresolved issues from the past.
She could be moody, clingy, even overbearing, yet we might also
expect more home cooking and family outings, trips to the
ocean/water, and warm bear hugs. With Mars in Virgo - everyone will
be tending the farm with great care! If he's picky and she's not -
there could be some grumbling. Or, maybe he will dig in and get it
done himself!
Mars
in Virgo - July 24 to Sept. 8 is a fine- tuned, precision
instrument. He knows what he wants and how he wants it, and he will
certainly notice if anything is amiss. This is a hard-working Mars, a
man of principle and honor. If you see the best in a man while Mars
is in this placement, he's more likely to live up to it!
Venus
in Leo - August 14 to Sept. 6 may clash some with Mars in Virgo.
She is yearning to look her best, speak her heart, and take charge!
However, Mars in Virgo may dwell on her imperfections, and this won't
go over well. If you must make demands of your lover, gals - be
specific, tell him what you want and how you want it. Feed his ego -
tell him how good he is at what he does, and he'll be more likely to
pamper you - attending to all the little details that tingle the
senses and make your cares disappear like so much dust in the wind.
Enjoy nature together, and family. Work on perfecting things around
the house - not each other. Women may be particularly shiny and
attractive while Venus is in Leo. Guys - give them the praise,
compliments and loving attention they need, and enjoy the show!
